First, take the Desjardins Trail towards the Sainte-Béatrix access road. This section allows you to discover the L'Assomption River over a distance of about 5 km, in addition to crossing the impressive suspension bridge above the Monte-à-Peine Falls and following the Desjardins Falls. Once at the access Sainte-Béatrix, the path of the Gorge, 600 m long, allows to access the fall of the Dalles as well as two other suspended bridges. On the way back, take the Érablière trail and continue along the interpretive trail to the covered bridge Jean-Pierre-Masson, named in honour of the actor known for his role as Séraphin Poudrier in the television novel Les Belles Histoires des pays d'en haut. After a break by the river, take the Desjardins Trail towards Saint-Jean-de-Matha to return to the starting point.
